'Asmariani Ni Luh, ' mask
Wearing flowers in her hair, Ni Luh gazes solemnly at the viewer in this mask created by master artisan Ketut Sarwa. In Balinese tradition, Ni Luh is a woman who makes offerings and brings them to the king's temple to offer to the gods. Carved from pule wood and colored with acrylic paints, this mask is a fascinating glimpse of Indonesian tradition.
